Patsy Cline (September 8, 1932 – March 5, 1963) was an influential American country music singer known for her rich voice and emotive style.

Born Virginia Patterson Hensley in Winchester, Virginia, she began her career in the mid-1950s and gained fame with hits like “Walkin’ After Midnight,” “I Fall to Pieces,” “Crazy,” and “She’s Got You.” Cline’s crossover appeal made her one of the first country artists to achieve mainstream success.

Her life was tragically cut short at the age of 30 in a plane crash. Despite her brief career, Cline’s legacy endures, and she remains a pioneering figure in country music.
