Movie Director: Adil El Arbi

Adil El Arbi is a Belgian director, producer, and screenwriter of Moroccan heritage, born on June 30, 1988, in Edegem, Belgium. He studied film at the Sint-Lukas Brussels University College of Art and Design, where he met his frequent collaborator, Bilall Fallah. Together, they directed their breakthrough feature film “Image” (2014), followed by the award-winning “Black” (2015), which showcased their talent for blending gripping narratives with social commentary.

El Arbi and Fallah’s continued success led them to Hollywood, where they directed “Bad Boys for Life” (2020), the third installment in the popular action-comedy franchise starring Will Smith and Martin Lawrence. Their directorial prowess extended to television with episodes of the crime drama “Snowfall” and the Marvel series “Ms. Marvel.”

Known for their energetic style and culturally rich storytelling, El Arbi and Fallah have carved out a significant presence in both European and American cinema.
