Actor: Riz Ahmed

Riz Ahmed, born on December 1, 1982, in London, England, is a British actor, rapper, and activist of Pakistani descent.

He gained critical acclaim for his roles in films such as Nightcrawler (2014), Rogue One: A Star Wars Story (2016), and Sound of Metal (2019), where his portrayal of a drummer losing his hearing earned him an Academy Award nomination for Best Actor. Ahmed made history as the first Muslim and the first South Asian to win the Emmy Award for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Limited Series for his performance in The Night Of (2016).

In addition to his acting career, he is a successful rapper known by the stage name Riz MC and has used his platform to advocate for diversity and social justice.
